Huevonazo Of The Week: Brett Butler

Posted by Mike on June 20, 2007

Brett Butler is a former journeyman centerfielder in the Major Leagues, having spent over 16 seasons with five different teams in his career. He is now the manager of the Mobile BayBears, a AA affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. I vaguely remember his name, but I will now remember him always as the recipient of this great huevonazo, courtesy of his son:

Sign the kid up! He’s got good aim, and watching his father in pain doesn’t stop him from finishing the followthrough on his swing. That’s what I call concentration.

I had no idea that Brett Butler had adopted Jonathan Lipnicki. What a heartwarming story.

Now that I look at it a again, I think that kid and the announcer were conspiring to make that huevonazo happen. Brett had NO CHANCE.
